GAME GOLF has just announced that the European Ladies Tour Pro Sophie Walker is joining its brand ambassador team. She will be the first female professional to use GAME GOLF in an official tournament at the Australian Masters at the Royal Pines Resort in Queensland.
According to my sources Sophie Walker is already using GAME GOLF to improve her performance. By her own admission during the practice rounds she achieved a GIR of 65% and a scoring average of two over par whilst her most recent five rounds saw her GIR (Green in Regulation; a statistical category) improve to 74% and her scoring average drop to four under par.
Since my last post about GAME GOLF, more and more PGA Tour professionals joined to develop the product. So now beside Graeme McDowell (he had been testing and providing feedback for 2 years prior to retail availability) we can find in the development team Lee Westwood and Jim Furyk.
Now, not just golfers, but also marketers should learn how to turn Big Data to "intelligent" data. In other words, we should learn how to efficiently harness the power of Big Data.
I would be also interested in how player predictive analytics can help PGA Tour professionals to improve their game. In addition to this how such technologies will change the roles and skills of coaches.
